Kenneth Cukier

Deputy Executive Editor, The Economist

Kenneth Cukier is the deputy executive editor of The Economist, following two decades at the paper as a technology writer, foreign correspondent and commentary editor. He is the coauthor of the New York Times bestselling book “Big Data,” which was translated into over 20 languages, and of “Framers” on power of mental models and the limitations of AI. He was previously a research fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and at Oxford’s Saïd Business School, as well as a trustee of Chatham House in 2016-22. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
