David Runciman is Professor of Politics at Cambridge University and the author of many books, most recently The Handover: How We Gave Control of Our Lives to Corporations, States and AIs (2023). He is currently the host of the Past Present Future podcast having previously hosted the Talking Politics podcast, which had nearly 30 million downloads. He is a Contributing Editor at the London Review of Books.
