In April 2018 we held our inaugural Creating the future conference. The response was overwhelming. 400 people attended and we received 150 personal thank you letters and emails. “Thought provoking”, “stimulating”, “relevant”, “inspirational” were just some of the kind comments to describe the day, which was held at the IET in London.
Creating the Future was an opportunity for us to share our mission for Weatherbys Private Bank; to keep building, expanding and developing for our clients and their families over future generations.
Our line-up of speakers included: Mark Stevenson, reluctant futurist and author of two bestselling books, ‘An optimists Tour of the Future’ and the award-winning ‘We Do Things Differently’; Bethany Koby, co-founder and CEO of Tech Will Save Us; Ed Fidoe, co-founder of School 21; and Dr Scilla Elworthy a three time Nobel Peace Prize nominee.
